Keep those Spray Plates Clean and Residue-Free

A maintenance tip from your friendly Alterra Service Department:
At least 3 to 4 times per week, remove the spray plate from your brewer (wrap your hand in a towel to protect yourself from hot water that will pour out of the machine).  Poke any residue or build-up that has accumulated in the spray plate holes using a toothpick or pin.  Wipe the entire plate clean and replace. Doing this on a regular basis will keep your equipment clean and in tip-top shape. By taking care of your equipment with preventative maintenance, you can save yourself heaps of trouble (and money!) down the road and also ensure that the coffee always tastes great.
