Does Alterra offer opportunities for café franchising?
No, but we can provide a range of products and services to help you open your own café! Our wholesale department will provide you with everything you need to serve outstanding coffee, tea, and espresso:

Can Alterra help my group organize a fundraiser?
Yes, we have a convenient fundraising program for non-profit groups with special pricing on coffee and hot cocoa mix. Please review our Fundraising Information Packet and call (877) 273-3747 to get started (Please note: minimum $250 order).

- Does Alterra provide nutritional information?
Since all of our bakery and food products are made from scratch, every day, any attempt to provide nutritional information would ultimately be inaccurate. We use seasonal, local ingredients whenever possible and often shift recipes according to supply. As our recipes often change to maximize local ingredients and flavor, we are unable to provide specific information about calories, fat content, etc. If you'd like a list of ingredients for anything served in our cafes due to dietary concerns or restrictions, please contact us using the form to the right!

Delivery Driver

| Duties Include: | * Delivering quality products to wholesale accounts
* Maintaining company vehicle
* Helping customers with any needs, questions, or complaints
* Completing and organizing all paperwork associated with deliveries
* Responsible for personal, driving and customer safety at all times

| Requirements: | * Clean driving record
* Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
* Customer service experience

| Job Summary: | The Delivery Driver will provide quality customer service by delivering product to wholesale coffee accounts. This person will ensure deliveries are punctual, complete and of the highest quality. It is the Driver’s duty to maintain a good driving record and perform all duties with care and safety.

Warehouse Packer

| Duties Include: | * Prepare sales orders, packaging, and other materials as specified on customer notes pages, frac sheets or other documentation
* Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently; identifying product, counting, weighing, blending, grinding, packaging, reporting and marking and staging product for delivery to retail and wholesale customers
* Keep work areas clean and organized, and completing housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisor
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

| Requirements: | High School Diploma
Basic math skills
Able to lift minimum of 40lbs
Light Administrative skills and neat penmanship

| Job Summary: | The Warehouse Packer is responsible to accurately, efficiently and safely performing duties required to prepare and deliver customer orders to Alterra retail, cafe and wholesale customers via conveyor, UPS, USPS, Truck or ABC/ACR delivery drivers. Products to be delivered include coffee, tea, cafe related wholesale items and service parts.

Baristas - Cafe Staff

| Duties Include: | * Providing an exceptional coffee experience in the cafe
* Preparing all coffee and specialty coffee drinks to the highest company standards
* Assisting customers with courteous and swift service
* Cleaning and maintaining cafe and all equipment
* Following food and safety guidelines
* Facilitating personal learning and career development by attending training classes and initiating on the training

| Requirements: | 6 months to 1 year previous espresso preparation experience, and customer service experience in a restaurant or retail setting
|
| Job Summary: | Baristas are the face of the company to all our customers and provide the customer with an overall satisfactory coffee experience. They perform various functions that include, but are not limited to, taking customer orders, coffee and food preparation, cash handling, and cafe maintenance. They are required to be knowledgeable about all aspects our coffee, food, retail, and other products in order to maintain the highest standards of excellence.
