SUPPORT AIDS WALK
2009/TEAM ALTERRA
This is the single largest fundraising walk benefiting AIDS/HIV prevention, care and treatment programs in Wisconsin. With more people than ever living with this disease, your support will help make sure that people living with HIV/AIDS have access to treatment and care that will allow them to live longer, healthier lives. This year’s 5K walk takes place Sunday, October 11th along the Milwaukee Lakefront. Registration is free and fundraising is made easy through personalized online participant centers; walkers will be treated to a live, acoustic set by Bon Iver, the 2009 Honorary Chair; dogs are welcome and there will even be a special Dog Registration area, where any walkers with dogs may turn in their pledges, and receive dogs treats.
