As of Tuesday, May 4th, 2010, the online store at AlterraCoffee.com will begin offering our coffees in one- and half-pound bags only. Our larger 5-pound bags will no longer be available as of this date, however, loyal online customers will still be able to take advantage of the usual 10% discount on purchases of any single coffee blend or variety bought in five-pound quantities. (You must select the “5-1lb bags” option in the “select bag slze” dropdown menu in the store in order to receive the discount.)
This ultimately means that all of the same exceptional coffees will still be available for the same prices currently listed, but packaging options have changed. The added benefit of this change to our customers is that freshness and storage will be improved on larger bulk orders and the quality and flavors in these coffees can be preserved even better.
We will also be removing the tea, cocoa and edible offerings from our site on Tuesday, May 4th. We encourage customers to place final online orders for these items no later than Monday, May 3rd and apologize for any inconvenience.
Please note that after Monday, May 3rd, we will not be able to fulfill orders for the following: Coffee in 5-pound packages, Hot Cocoa, Teas and Tisanes, Alterra Trio Gift Box, Chocolate Covered Almonds, Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans, Chocolate Caramels, Alterra Granola, Mint Cocoa, Strong Mints or the Tea Sampler gift box. Any orders for these items must be received before 11pm (CST), Monday, May 3rd. After that date, customers can visit Alterra cafes in the metro-Milwaukee area where cocoa, tea and edibles will still be available for purchase.
