Alterra is teaming up with MCTS to help spread the word about the new Milwaukee Bikes On Buses program!
In Summer 2009, all Milwaukee County Transit System buses will be equipped with easy to use bike racks. Some of the racks have already been installed, making it even move convenient to leave your car at home for an easier commute, head out to explore Milwaukee County Parks and bike trails, or enjoy a bike ride on your lunch break. Each rack holds two bikes and use is free with your bus fare!
Visit Alterra at the Lake on Thursday, June 11th during Bike to Work Week for demos by MCTS. A rack (sans bus) will be on-hand for cyclists to get hands-on demonstrations from 5-7pm, prior to the Musica del Lago performance by Spanglish Band.
Using MCTS bike racks is easy as 1…2…3…4
Download the brochure here with complete instructions on how to use them. (If the model in that brochure looks familiar, it’s because it’s Alterra Humboldt’s very own biker/barista Sarah Bare!)
