The Cycling Club at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is Freezing for a Cause to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Bayshore Town Center and Alterra is proud to help support their efforts. Twenty-five of the cycling club’s teammates will be riding stationary training devices in the snow in front of the Bayshore café from 11:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Their mission is to spread awareness of the need to stop Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in its tracks and generate over $1000, of which 100% of the proceeds going directly to the society for research and program services.
Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. Through ground-breaking research initiatives, programs designed to address the challenges of living with MS, and advocating for improved public policy, the Society is dedicated to a world free of MS.
