Alterra Alumni Represents at 2008 Olympics

image

We recently received a note from our old friend and Alterra alum, Al Liu, as he was enjoying the Olympic Games in Beijing. Although Al left Milwaukee at the beginning of the year for a position with Seattle importer Atlas Coffee, he still packed a little piece of Alterra in his suitcase. He was kind enough to send us this photo of himself sporting a vintage Alterra t-shirt while posing in front of the Olympic Stadium. We miss you, Al, and hope that your unique personality and awesome dance moves are as much of a hit in Seattle (and China!) as they are back home here in Milwaukee!

From Al's note:
"Greetings from the Olympics! The four hours I spent one Monday night last November trying to buy tickets paid off, as I've been criss-crossing Beijing going from one competition to another. Check out my blog for the full scoop: http://alsandiego.travellerspoint.com. In the meantime, I've attached a picture of me in Alterra Wear in front of the Olympic Stadium.

Had a decent americano today while meeting with this guy who wants to start roasting coffee here. You know me...always mixing business in while on vacation."
Thanks Al, we'll see you soon.
